Hair Festival is coming up next week on June 30 and July 1 at Sydney’s ICC and there are a myriad of versatile education offerings across the Sunday and Monday event. The education rooms will host prolific brands and educators teaching a variety of creative, business and specialised disciplines to elevate your hair knowledge.

While the REALtalk Business Forum takes over Sunday morning for salon owners and managers, the Education Sessions will also elevate your business approach. Sharlene Lee and Jessica Del Borrello, who lead award-winning hair salon franchise Circles of Hair, will join up with L’Oréal PRO.CONNECT to teach ‘Multi-Million Dollar Moves’ and their inimitable, proven business strategies. This specialised category will have its space in the Barber Hub with education in the stands, and also take over the rooms. Learn from WAHL experts Ben Kane, who will teach the ‘Asymmetrical Creative Crop’, and Sarah Wall, who will teach the ‘Creative Textured Mullet’. Heiniger will present barbering icons Rex Silver, Matt Clarke and Tarik Jasarevic to showcase ‘From Manes to Men: Creativity Unleashed’ and the power of their tools and talents. The exclusive BaBylissPRO Barberology Masterclass with Sofie Pok, titled ‘Unveiling Modern LA Style and Precision Techniques, will ensure Sofie’s international talents maximise your own men’s hair potential.

Editorial Hair Inspiration

Hairdressing legends Caterina Di Biase, Benni Tognini, Jayne Wild, Dave McCulloch, Kristina Russell, Nicole Healy, Sheridan Rose Shaw, Simon Doyle, Nicole Lamers, Loz Main and Nathan Yip, with Clive Allwright and Gary Latham as emcees, will present Open Mic, for top-tier talents on stage, presented in the style of a comedy show.
