EXCLUSIVE: Vida Glow Is Partnering With The French Beauty Academy
In a SPA+CLINIC exclusive, Vida Glow announces its partnership with The French Beauty Academy.
Launching today, on the 31st of August, Vida Glow is partnering with Australia’s premier beauty and dermal training institution, The French Beauty Academy. This industry-first partnership has come together to revolutionise beauty education through training the next generation of dermal therapists and beauty entrepreneurs on the efficacy of bi-directional beauty.
Today’s launch event was held at The French Beauty Academy’s Brisbane campus, where Vida Glow Founder, Anna Lahey, introduced the industry first partnership in front of 150-200 students at a morning tea. Students learnt the importance of ingestible beauty through an immersive introduction to the brand as well as the opportunity to trial the products at the Vida Glow tasting station. All students departed with a Vida Glow goodie bag.
Anna Lahey was joined by Angie Gaffney, Director of Strategy and Brand at The French Beauty Academy and the French Leadership team for the ribbon cutting moment (as pictured in featured image).
French students undertaking the Academy’s flagship dual Diploma will be immersed in a series of masterclasses with a focus in the areas of nutrition and dermal treatments. Areas of ingestible education will include topics that explore beauty on a cellular level, collagen foundations, science-backed ingredients, and the use of ingestible beauty to target common beauty concerns such as anti-ageing, acne and pigmentation.
In addition to the educational component, Vida Glow’s ingestible range will also be retailed across all three Beauty Academy Campuses and incorporated into the beauty treatment services offered by Academy students to the public.
“Partnering with The French Beauty Academy is a pivotal brand moment as we cement our positioning as industry leaders. With category education at the forefront, this is an exciting step in our global trajectory – to share the science behind ingestible beauty and its prominence in bi-directional beauty routines.” Anna Lahey, Vida Glow Founder.
SPA+CLINIC exclusively caught up with Anna to discuss the new partnership:
What sparked the decision to make the partnership with The French Beauty Academy?
“Since our launch in 2014, education has been at the forefront of our work at Vida Glow. Although gaining momentum fast, ingestible beauty is still a relatively new category and it requires education to communicate how it works in the body to solve concerns on the surface.
Partnering with The French Beauty Academy is truly a pivotal moment for us as a brand as we continue to revolutionise beauty education taking it beyond our regular channels to empower the next generation of beauty experts. This is all about sharing the real science of ingestible beauty.
This industry-first partnership marks a category milestone; one that backs the global beauty move towards ingestibles.”
How many masterclasses are offered in the series and what do they include?
“Throughout the dual diploma course, students will be immersed into a series of 11 masterclass modules which will include focus areas on ingestible beauty. Delving deep into the science behind ingestible solutions, how they work, and how you can effectively prescribe and sell to clients to build their most efficacious beauty routine.”
Vida Glow will also be part of our BEAUTY&SPA Insiders event on September 12 where delegates will be able to experience the brand’s range of ingestible products.
