View the 2023 AHIA International Hairdresser of the Year Collection
The UK’s famed Mark Leeson, leader of Mark Leeson Salons, took home the title of International Hairdresser of the Year at the 2023 Australian Hair Industry Awards (Creative). Winning for the SeVil collection, the bold group of images inspires from abroad.
Set against a fiery orange backdrop, the collection continues that palette with complementary metallic beauty details, and bright orange fashion styling and accessories in a myriad of textures, as well as bright orange hair tones as well.
The collection’s hair looks traverse editorial short crops, wild textured styles, modern takes on the bowl cut, asymmetrical bobs and more. Vibrant blue tones, multi-dimensional rainbow colours and the collection’s auburn centre define the dynamic colour looks.
With photography by Richard Miles and makeup by Maddie Austin, the collection was also created in conjunction with Revlon Professional, winning a host of global awards and inspiring on our shores all the way from across the pond.
