View the 2024 AHIA New Zealand Hairdresser of the Year Collection
Congratulations to Andrew Cobeldick of Buoy Salon and Spa who took home the illustrious title of New Zealand Hairdresser of the Year at the 2024 Australian Hair Industry Awards (Creative) on July 1. The black and white collection, titled Gigi, highlights bold texture and shape in a theatrical aesthetic.

With photography by Dave Richards and retouching by Val Cabadonga, as well as makeup by Serena Rose, styling by Sopheak Seng and hair assistance by Kelvin Nguyen and Mathias Ryder Te Moananui, the collection offers sculptural looks, creative braids and spijed details where hair is truly art.
