What You Missed at the 2024 Beauty Expo

What You Missed at the 2024 Beauty Expo

Last weekend, thousands of beauty and aesthetic professionals descended on Sydney’s ICC for the 2024 Beauty Expo.

Often regarded as the biggest annual event in the Australian beauty industry calendar, attendees and exhibitors told Professional Beauty this year’s event was “bigger and better than ever before”.

The 2024 Beauty Expo was built on six distinctive drawards. On first entering the show, attendees filtered through an arena reserved for cosmeceutical skincare. Brands paraded their knowledge of active ingredients and investments in R&D. Makeup aficionados gathered to witness artists at work during the Face2Face Makeup Awards. Likewise, Beauty Live drew crowds eager to watch professionals demonstrate how-tos across the categories of skin, lashes, brows, makeup, and more.

Those after advice and mentorship headed to The Business Couch to secure some one-on-one time with industry experts. Three educational streams (ABAC) ran throughout the weekend, profiling leaders, educators and suppliers in the fields of beauty and aesthetics.

And if that wasn’t enough, attendees had over 200 exhibiting brands to peruse. Brand founders were met, products were discovered, and leads were generated.

In case you missed it, the winners of the Face2Face Makeup Awards were announced amongst the action.
