Discover Sustainable Hair Foils with Eco Foils
Allowing users to “foil responsibly and style sustainably”, Eco Foils are eco-friendly, high-quality hair foils for sustainable salons, that prioritise the environment while never compromising on performance. The brand was founded by Tenille Lawrence of Little Birdie Hair Co, as an innovation that’s made for hairdressers, by a hairdresser.
Tenille founded Little Birdie Hair Co in 2015, which is a hair salon built on low-tox, eco-friendly practices. She then extended this approach to Eco Foils to continue this eco-conscious mindset. The brand’s manufacturing process, materials and collaborations all reflect this ethos.
The foils are made from recycled aluminium and are 100 per cent recyclable. They’re also adorned with nature-inspired designs and take sustainability even further, with 100 per cent carbon neutral shipping, where emissions are offset thanks to a partnership with Carbon Positive Australia.
“Eco Foils is more than just a tool for stylists. It’s a movement toward responsible beauty. By choosing Eco Foils, stylists are joining us in reducing waste, protecting the planet, and proving that small changes can make a big impact on your craft, your industry, and the planet,” Tenille shared. “Together, we can create a more sustainable future for hairdressing.”
The brand puts an emphasis on minimising their ecological footprint, and users can partake in Planting a Tree for $4 when purchasing the foils, helping to offset the carbon footprint of the order. The brand also donates $2 to the Australian Koala Foundation with every box sold, helping to protect this endangered species with their philanthropic collaborations.
“We’re committed to reducing our environmental impact and taking responsibility for our carbon footprint,” the brand shared. “That’s why we partner with Carbon Positive Australia to offset all carbon emissions from shipping our products from the manufacturer to our warehouse in Brisbane. By working to be carbon neutral, we make sure every step of our process supports our values of sustainability. Our goal is to make the smallest impact on the environment, so you can feel good about choosing eco-friendly hair products that contribute to a greener future.”
Recycling aluminium is easy and the material is infinitely recyclable. Organisations such as Sustainable Salons can even pick up your salon recycling to hand it in. Importantly, recycling aluminium saves up to 95 per cent of the energy needed to produce new aluminium and it can also be recycled repeatedly. Recycling aluminium can save up to 8kg of bauxite, four kilograms of chemicals, and 14,000 watts of electricity.
A brand with purpose that’s more movement than pure product, join that movement with Eco Foils.
