Elle Macpherson launches botanical skincare range
Premium Australian wellness brand WelleCo, best known as Elle Macpherson’s beauty supplement range, this week announced they would be expanding their product range with the release of a new line of skincare, writes Mala McAlpin.
The Native Australian Bush Flower Remedies range takes a holistic approach to skincare, and aims to provide nourishment for both skin and spirit.
Utilising Australian bush flowers and botanical extracts, the four products in the line have been designed to leave the body feeling revitalised and nurtured, and the mind feeling clear and balanced.
“I truly believe in the importance of balancing inner and outer beauty and wellness,” says Elle Macpherson, Founder of WelleCo. “A carefully considered combination of ingredients, these products were specifically formulated using traditional Australian bush flower remedies to help promote physical, emotional and spiritual healing. When native flower essence is used to re-balance the body, true wonders of our being emerge.”
The WelleCo Bush Flower Remedies include the Nurturing Body Cleanse, Uplifting Body Balm, Brightening Face Mask and Restoring Hair & Scalp Mask. The products have been curated by Dr Simone Laubscher alongside several botanical experts. All have been formulated with healing Vetiver (a fragrant perennial grass) to assist in promoting serenity, balance, and clarity of mind. Other botanicals include orange, juniper and peach extracts, jacaranda and flannel flower, Kakadu plum, damask rose and desert quandong extract to name a few.
The brand is also committed to sustainability and a desire to reduce environmental impact, so all packaging is made in Australia from 100% recycled plastic. The products are formulated, blended and packaged in Australia, are not tested on animals and are made without sulfates, petrolatums, parabens, artificial colours or synthetic scents.
