Advanced Cosmeceuticals’ Inaugural Skin Is In Summit Impressed With Inspirational Program
ACSG delivers a stellar event with their recent networking, educational and business event “Skin Is In Summit”, offering skills and information aimed to help the aesthetic and beauty industry to further learn and grow.
Advanced Cosmeceuticals Skin Group (ACSG) recently hosted an event at the Yallamundi Rooms at Sydney Opera House, where 72 guests gathered for a day of workshops, coaching, and inspiration. The event aimed to provide valuable insights and strategies for business growth, tailored to the needs of the attendees.
Speakers & presentations
On arrival, delegates enjoyed a variety of breakfast treats and fresh coffee before the program began, led by Editor and Author, MC Paula Joye. The morning sessions featured a range of speakers, beginning with Chelsea Pottenger from EQ Minds, who delivered a session focused on leadership and business ownership. Pottenger’s workshop offered actionable strategies for personal and professional development, drawing from her experience as a psychologist.
Following her, Alfie Lombardi from Device Consulting discussed trends in the cosmetic industry and what clinic owners should consider as they approach 2025. Abbie White, CEO of Sales Redefined, concluded the morning with a talk offering specific advice based on insights from an ACSG clinic owner.
After a morning tea break, the pre-lunch sessions continued with presentations from various speakers, including Olivia Boyd Smith, who discussed ingestible beauty products, and a roundtable with clinic owners Danielle from Bobbi Charles, Francesca from MiSkin, and Rebecca from Skin by Rebecca. The session covered the evolution of clinic businesses and was noted for its engaging and insightful content. Additionally, Hannah Biggerstaff from Medik8, who had recently arrived from the UK, provided an overview of the future of skincare and teased upcoming launches for 2025.
The keynote speaker, Janine Allis, founder of Boost Juice, shared her business journey and the eight lessons she learned along the way. Allis’s talk emphasised the potential for individuals to achieve great things by seizing the right opportunities.
During the working lunch, Amy and Lisa from GOOD IDEAS CO led a session on brand identity and voice. Attendees participated in exercises designed to help them evaluate and strengthen their brands, ensuring consistency and clarity in their business messaging.
Attendees were invited to complete worksheets as the session progressed, really asking them to take stock and to consider what is their brand. How is it represented, is it consistent, and if not – how can they ensure it is?
The session was intentionally thought provoking and designed to help clinic or spa owners be ready, willing and able to tackle one part of their business they often overlook because they are “too busy”.
The Skin Is In Summit served as an opportunity for ACSG to reinforce its position within the industry and foster meaningful relationships with their partners, highlighting the importance of collaboration and mutual success under the new leadership team founded back in 2023.
