AFW: Davroe and Shark Beauty X Beare Park
Australian luxury ready-to-wear label Beare Park took to Australian Fashion Week at the Gallery of NSW, with Davroe and hair director Madison Voloshin leading the hair styling backstage, with hair tools by Shark Beauty. The brand debuted at Sydney Opera House in 2021 and has since become known for its bold, elegant fashion looks, driven by Co-Founder and Creative Director Gabriella Pereira.
The Resort ’25 runway show showcases 30 chic looks, as paired with Paspaley’s rare pearls, and Yu Mei’s luxury leather crafted handbags. The fashion looks exhibited the fashion label’s signature high quality fabrics, sourced fron family-owned mills in France, Italy, and Japan, within the label’s values of slow fashion and sustainability. Elements such as sheer, fluid fabrications, soft tailoring and neutral, metallic finishes headlined the collection.
Davroe’s hair looks featured an organic hair shape that sat long and loose to the body, as well as polished curls. Relaxed ponytails or flowing styles were selected as necessary within the show.
Presenting sophisticated, elevated everyday hair looks, this natural, lived-in texture and aesthetic was achieved with key products such as Davroe’s Tame Detangler, Thermaprotect, Ends Repair Leave-In Treatment, Fabricate Texture Spray, and Complete Aerosol Hairspray, with Ends Repair as a particular hero tool.
“Ends Repair has this beautiful glassy capability, but the hair just soaks it up, so you can never make it too oily or shiny,” Madison said. “No matter how heavy-handed you are with this product, you can always expect a beautiful natural gloss that completely hydrates the hair. I guess the inspiration for this is more of a gentle hairdo. It’s simple, nothing that’s too complex or unachievable at home, but at the same time, the finish is elevated courtesy of Davroe – the products lift it up to a more luxurious level.”
