Can a Lunchtime Peel Really Transform Your Skin? I Tried iS Clinical’s New Flash Brightening Peel
Another month, another new treatment launch. Or in this case, two—one for in-clinic, one for home—both from iS Clinical. Their latest brightening duo is designed to target uneven tone, dullness, blemishes and fine lines. Here’s how it stacked up to its claims…
The lowdown
Treatment: iS Clinical Flash Brightening Peel
Duration: 30-minute or 60-minutes – offered as a standalone “lunchtime” peel or within a bespoke facial
Where: Available at iS Clinical clinics nationwide
Created as part of a two-step innovation, the Flash Brightening Peel complements the new Extra Strength Active Peel Brightening System – a professional-grade at-home exfoliator.
Step 1 of the at-home system combines potent alpha and beta hydroxy acids sourced from Sugarcane, Willow Bark, and fruit extracts to resurface the skin. Step 2 neutralises this with a calming cocktail of Copper Tripeptide-1, antioxidant botanicals, and hydrating ingredients like Glycerin and Sodium PCA. To note: This can only be purchased in-clinic with a skin consultation or treatment.

The in-clinic Flash Brightening Peel, which I tried, builds on this technology with a more intensive, professionally applied protocol. It promises instantly brighter, smoother skin – with no downtime.
The benefits
• Potent resurfacing power
• Visible brightening benefits
• Minimises the appearance of lines and winkles
• Provides deep hydration
• Provides skin barrier support
• Promotes telomere protection
• Helps support optimum mitochondrial condition
• Zero downtime
• Rapid Results
• Clinically proven outcome
My experience
Held in a stunning suite at The Langham in Sydney, I was met by the iS Clinical Trainer who talked me through the treatment. I flagged that my skin is highly reactive to heat, often flushing during facials. She reassured me, while the peel is active, it’s also incredibly gentle – a signature of iS Clinical’s range.
We started with a double cleanse followed by the Tri-Active Exfoliating Masque – a dual-action physical and biochemical exfoliant. Then came the Clarifying Mud Masque, designed to brighten, detoxify, and support cellular function without overdrying.
At this point, my skin was starting to heat up (classic), so the Hydra-Intensive Cooling Masque was a welcome relief, especially when paired with cold globes. This cooling gel masque felt instantly calming, delivering a refreshing wave of hydration to my sensitive skin.

Then came the main event: the Flash Brightening Peel. Surprisingly, I didn’t experience the usual tingling sensation I get with most peels. My skin was a little pink afterwards but settled quickly in the winter air.
The verdict
Once home, I caught my reflection and did a double take: it was, quite literally, LIT. Think next-level glowy. The results held for several days, making this an ideal treatment before a big event. My skin felt luminous, hydrated and calm. I’m now following up with the Extra Strength Active Peel Brightening System at home. For my redness-prone skin, the iS Clinical expert recommended weekly use (though those with more resilient skin can use it every 3–4 days).
If you’re chasing an instant glow with zero downtime, the iS Clinical Flash Brightening Peel is one to add to your facial bucket list. It’s clinical-grade skincare with a luxury facial feel – and results that speak for themselves.
