Glow Lab launches first natural anti-ageing skincare range into New Zealand supermarkets
Glow Lab, a natural New Zealand skincare brand (and part of the Earthwise Group), has just launched Glow Lab Age Renew – a natural anti-ageing skincare range with a difference. Designed to fight the visible signs of ageing, Glow Lab Age Renew combines nature with scientifically proven active ingredients. It’s the first natural, anti-ageing skincare range to hit New Zealand supermarkets and includes a range of eight products that range in price from $19.99 to $39.99.
Born out of extensive consumer research in New Zealand with women aged 35+, Glow Lab Age Renew was developed to specifically meet the specific needs of these consumers. Research highlighted hydration, skin firmness, reducing fine lines and protection agains UV damage were key concerns, with many looking for more natural skincare alternatives free from any nasty ingredients.
“Women 35+ told us in research focus groups what they’re key skin cancers were – so we were able to create a product range from the inside out to address these needs,” says Glow Lab’s lead chemist Dr Gillian Worth.
“My team and I carefully selected only the best trademarked active ingredients that have been proven to scientifically work such as Lumicease and Bel-Even. Lumicease is found in the Total Defence SPF15 Moisturiser, this naturally derived ingredient has proven to protect and strengthen skin cells against light damage by up to 61% after three months.
“Bel-Even is found in the Age Renew Recover Night Cream – an active ingredient proven to improve skin density by up to 70% after four weeks, leading to improved skin elasticity.”
