Here’s What You Can Win at the Hair Festival 2024 Competitions
The Hair Festival 2024 Competitions, taking place on July 1 from 10am at Sydney’s ICC, will ignite the live competition space in a big way. Here’s what you can win in the myriad of dynamic live tournaments.
The competitions will be sponsored by O&M, who will give every competitor a small gift of O&M products to try. The brand will also be awarding prize money to every competition winner. First place in every competition will win $300, second place will win $200 and third place will win $100. Winners will also receive the Hair Festival Trophy and an editorial feature in INSTYLE magazine, valued at $3450.
The competitions have expanded, and now you can compete to be a Hair Festival Champion. The new and returning competition categories traverse barbering, colour, women’s style, bridal, emerging talent and more, where competitors will accumulate points to be the bona fide Hair Festival Barber Champion, Stylist Champion and Rising Star Champion for 2024, in the event’s most dynamic competition series yet.
In the always popular men’s hair category, you can compete in Barber Street for senior and established barbers or try out the Men’s Total Look and Inspired by Colour pre-done categories. Similarly, women’s styles will traverse Women’s Street Style for established hairdressers, as well as the same pre-done total look and colour options, while an additional pre-done bridal category is also on offer. The returning Editorial Glam Slam will also put hairdressers to the test to show off their session type skills.
Rising star talents can throw their hair in the ring in women’s cutting, barber cutting and blow dry categories to be the emerging champion.
