Here’s Why You Need To Attend Aesthetic Business Masters

Nicole Montgomery shares her experience from clinic floor to industry leader, and why she has now ventured into the aesthetic & business event space.

With over 15 years of experience in the aesthetics industry, I’ve had the privilege of working in a wide variety of roles, starting my career on the clinic floor. From treating clients and managing operations to answering phones and leading teams within a large franchise, I developed a strong understanding of both the front-line and management aspects of the business.

My transition into marketing and events came naturally when I started collaborating with international brands on campaigns. By chance, I organised my first event for plastic surgeons and realised that this was where my passion truly lies. A pivotal moment in my career was working alongside Dr Anh on a hugely successful Christmas event at her clinic. That success gave me the confidence to pursue event planning full-time.

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of creating and leading standout events, including the ROAR series with Venus Concept and EnVogue, ABIC’s highly regarded conferences, the Ultraclear product launch, and numerous intimate workshops and masterclasses. None of these achievements would have been possible without the collaboration of remarkable individuals. I firmly believe that extraordinary events are never the result of one person alone—they require a team of exceptional people, and I’ve been fortunate to work with some of the very best.

Why I Created Aesthetic Business Masters

Over the last few years, I’ve witnessed the explosive rise of events in the aesthetic space. Following a long period of no in-person gatherings, the industry shifted to hosting hundreds of events, often in conjunction with larger conferences. However, I’ve noticed that quantity doesn’t always equal quality. This, combined with insights from brands and clinic owners, inspired me to create Aesthetic Business Masters (ABM)—a series of events that focus on high-value, business-focused education with actionable outcomes.

From the perspective of brands, I’ve seen how difficult it is to connect with decision-makers in a saturated, competitive market. Companies need to generate leads, nurture their pipeline, and hit their sales targets, all while maintaining relationships with clients and key opinion leaders. Many are asking the same question: How do we reach the right audience, at the right time, without overspending?

At the same time, clinic owners face an entirely different set of challenges. I’ve spent years networking with clinic owners and professionals who’ve shared their struggles with me. Overwhelmed by the demands of marketing, HR, AI, sales targets, and managing expenses, many say they just want to focus on what they love: building client relationships and delivering treatments.

Time and again, I heard frustrations such as:

“There are too many coaches, and if they’re not the right fit, it’s a huge waste of money.”

“I just want practical advice and resources I can actually use in my business.”

It became clear that there was a lack of business-focused education designed specifically for clinic owners. Most events either focus on clinical skills or end up being a sales pitch, leaving attendees without tangible takeaways. I realised the industry needed a conference dedicated to the business side of aesthetics, covering essentials such as cash flow, marketing, client experience, and building a sustainable business model.

In addition, 2026 will see the launch of the Aesthetic Business Masters Awards, celebrating coaches, businesses, and clinics for their achievements in business ethics, growth, and resilience. These awards will recognise those who set new benchmarks for excellence in the industry and inspire others to follow their lead.

Ultimately, my goal is to create an ecosystem where brands, clinics, and industry leaders come together to solve challenges, foster meaningful connections, and drive sustainable growth. 2025 marks the beginning of this journey, and I’m excited to see how ABM will empower the people and businesses that make this industry extraordinary.

By creating Aesthetic Business Masters, I hope to provide a space where knowledge, collaboration, and success thrive—allowing the aesthetic industry to flourish and achieve its full potential.
