Indie Empowerment Summit To Take Place on September 23

Australia’s first-ever Indie Empowerment Summit has had a date change, now taking place on September 23 at the Ovolo Hotel, Woolloomooloo, in Sydney. The summit is ideal for all solo operators, or aspirational solo operators, taking attendees through the practical, business focused, brand building and other tenets of independent hair, beauty and wellness operation.

Thanks to independent hair and beauty salon line Salon Lane, the event has been tailored exclusively for independent hair, beauty, and wellness freelancers and entrepreneurs. The full day event, taking place from 9:30am to 4:30pm, will host keynote speakers and workshops to elevate your independent business in personalised and specific ways.

Expect an array of dynamic headliners to guide your education, where you will learn about Taking the Leap, Being a Brand Ambassador, Building Your Brand, Pricing Services and Managing Finances, Winning Clients and Employing Systems and Processes.

“Whether you’re a home operator, a mobile freelancer, a rent-a-chair professional, or a member of a shared workspace—or if you’re still considering the leap into independence—this event will support you in building and expanding a business that offers the freedom, flexibility, and financial success you desire,” the platform shared.

Industry stalwarts such as Natalie Anne, Hayley Mears and Melanie Burnicle will lead the vast array of speakers and panellists, while brands such as Natalie Anne, Unwritten and Seamless1 sponsor the event. INSTYLE, Professional Beauty and Spa + Clinic act as media partners.

The event has had a wealth of interest from brand partners and the independent hair community and will launch into the market in September to truly elevate independent hair.

Early Bird tickets are available until July 31 – don’t miss out!
