International Hairdressing Awards announce 2024 runway presenters
The International Hairdressing Awards will be honouring its recently announced winners with a purple carpet event in Lisbon, Portugal on April 29, and they’ve just announced the inspiring hair teams that will wow the crowd.
Within a gala event that will include the awards ceremony and cocktail dinner, a catwalk show will showcase the work and collections of some of the most prolific hairdressers in the world. The presenting teams are comprised of Emmanuel Esteban from France, Errol Douglas MBE from the United Kingdom, Fabio Ziccardi from Italy, Jorge X & Janos Deri from Spain and Germany, the Mark Leeson Art Team from the United Kingdom and TONI&GUY Artistic Team, also from the United Kingdom.
In case you missed it, the winners in the prestigious awards were recently announced in an international tour and include our very own Sharon Blain, who was awarded the title International Hair Legend, as Mikel Luzea, IHA director and founder, and Sergi Bancells, global ambassador of the awards, visited each recipient in their home country.
Best International Women’s Commercial Collection was won by Carlos Valiente and Bernat Sayol from Salones Carlos Valiente, Spain, International Film & TV Hairdresser of the Year was won by Ivana Primorac, Marie Larkin and Clare Corsick for their work in the smash hit movie Barbie, and International Hair Influencer of the Year was awarded to Ken Paves from the US. Best International Men’s Commercial Collection was won by Sam Elliot, Best International Avant-Garde Collection went to Efi Davies and the International Artistic Team of the Year was named as the TONI&GUY Artistic Team, all from the UK. Current British Hairdresser of the Year Cos Sakkas, TONI&GUY’s Global Creative Director, won the pinnacle title of International Hairdresser of the Year for the third year in a row, becoming the first winner to secure this hattrick.
