New Zealand’s queen of nails Leah Light this week announced the sale of her eponymously named salons in Westgate and Parnell.

Light, who has more than 450K social media followers, shared the news across her platforms, saying, “Where to start… I guess it should begin with one of the biggest decisions of my life that happened at the end of 2019 that will shock some of you and not surprise others… The realisation that it was finally time for us to close an incredible chapter and sell our amazing salons.”

She assured her clients and followers the new owners “plan to continue growing the Leah Light Studios empire and maintain the incredible standards that the brand is renowned for.”

“Not to mention all our epic staff are staying on board, so nothing will be changing for you, our customers.”

Light, who has done nails for a host of celebrity clients including Eva Longoria, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Scarlett Johansson and Lorde, says she has “some incredibly exciting things lined up” and also plans to put further focus on another of her companies, OMG Beauty Solutions.
