The NZ Hair and Beauty Expo has some big announcements for a planned event in 2021, writes Shannon Gaitz.

New Zealand’s only B2B hair and beauty show, it is now fully and officially locally owned and operated, with the New Zealand-based SDW Events having recently purchased the event.

“SDW Events were contracted to event manage this years Expo,” explains Shaughan Woodcock, owner and director of SDW Events.

“I outlined in the 2019 show guide that I was committed to giving you and the industry an inspiring, exciting and relevant event that is a highlight on the industry’s calendar. Owning and managing the expo and having a longer planning time provides me with the opportunity to make significant changes to the expo.”

The next phase of the planning process will see the event present a new floor plan and pricing structure to businesses before the end of 2019 to optimise planning time, with dates set as June 19 and 20, 2021 at the ASB Showgrounds in Auckland. After that more information will be available in early 2020.
