Sephora announce collab with Mario Dedivanovic
Earlier this month, Sephora announced a partnership with celebrity makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic, who will launch his first-ever collection of makeup brushes: Makeup by Mario x Sephora.
The collaboration, which will be available exclusively at Sephora starting December 26th and for a limited time only, features three limited-edition brush sets that allow clients to easily replicate Dedivanovic’s signature techniques: an Eye Brush Set, a Complexion Brush Set and a Master Brush Set.
“At Sephora, we are hyper focused on finding what’s new and next in beauty, and we are passionate about delivering that to our clients,” said Artemis Patrick, EVP and chief merchandising officer for Sephora.
“Mario Dedivanovic is a master of his craft and has continued to set the pace for what it means to be a makeup artist in a world where social media is ever-present. We’re thrilled to be partnering with him to create Makeup by Mario x Sephora, a collection of state-of-the-art tools that allow are clients to become their own makeup masters.”
Dedivanovic began his career as a fragrance consultant and greeter at Sephora. During his time at the retailer, he began experimenting with makeup and training more formally in makeup artistry. He went on to work at Lorac Cosmetics as their regional make-up artist, where he began to receive notable celebrity clients – many of whom are still with him today. Dedivanovic has continued to grow as an artist and master of his craft, becoming an internationally renowned make-up artist hosting masterclasses across the world that showcase his signature techniques.
“I’m delighted to be partnering with Sephora for my very first brush collection,” said Dedivanovic. “As a creator, it’s exciting to work with a retailer who prioritises bringing the highest-quality beauty products and tools to their clients. We were able to work together to create something that seamlessly meets both my needs as an artist and gives clients the tools to create some of my most iconic looks at home.”
