Short Back & Sidewalks partners with TONI&GUY Australia
Welcome a new important partnership between Short Back & Sidewalks (SBSW) and TONI&GUY Australia, as the philanthropic organisation ushers in a new initiative to offer haircuts in Sydney to people in need.
Starting from February, the TONI&GUY Sydney network will volunteer to deliver new monthly SBSW services at the Central Community Hub at St Andrew’s Cathedral. This will complement SBSW’s second presence in Sydney at Foster House in Surry Hills, which is a residential facility for men aged 18 and over who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
“It’s really special to get to work alongside such an iconic hairdressing brand and crew like the TONI&GUY Australia team to deliver services to the people who need it most,” said SBSW CEO Natalie Jenkins. “The people who use our services deserve the very best, and this partnership ensures they will continue to receive it from some of Sydney’s best hairdressers.”

SBSW is a free hair-cutting and grooming service for those experiencing homelessness and poverty, which has been operating since in 2015 across Western Australia, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia, creating visibility, confidence and meaningful connections for marginalised communities through the power of hairdressing. This partnership only extends that impact.
