The 2024 MediAesthetics Cosmetic Conference is set to bring together registered nurses from SILK Laser Clinics, Clear Skincare Clinics, and Australian Skin Clinics for an invitation-only event at the Sofitel Brisbane Central on the 4th and 5th of August.

The conference aims to be an important event for the aesthetic medical community, highlighting growth, innovation, and collaboration; with international experts and a comprehensive agenda, attendees can expect an enriching and informative experience.

Focus on learning and innovation

The MediAesthetics Cosmetic Conference is designed for the 200+ aesthetic nurses within the SILK, Clear Skincare, and Australian Skin Clinics network. Key opinion leaders (KOLs) from around the globe will present the latest advancements in injecting knowledge, techniques, and trends, with three-quarters of the speakers being international specialists.

Attendees will gain insights into global practices and innovations to enhance their skills and stay updated with the latest in aesthetic medicine.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

The conference offers an opportunity for nurses to earn Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours, helping them maintain their professional registration and stay current with evolving standards of practice in the aesthetic field. The agenda includes sessions designed to enrich attendees’ professional journey and improve their practice.

Key Opinion Leaders & Speakers

A dermatologist from New Delhi, India, Dr. Vandana Chatrath specialises in clinical, aesthetic, and surgical dermatology. She is a faculty member at the Allergan Medical Institute and a speaker and author in the field of dermatology.
A plastic surgery doctor from the UK, Dr. Priyanka Chadha is the CEO of Acquisition Aesthetics and co-founder of Aesthetics United. She is an advanced trainer in cosmetic aesthetics and a principal investigator for clinical trials in the UK.
A reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon from Morocco, Dr. Nabila Azib is a member of several international scientific societies and the owner of “Dr. Nabila AZIBB Aesthetics Academy.” She provides insights into anatomy and experience-oriented treatments.
A cosmetic physician from Queensland, Australia, Dr. Scott Allison has over a decade of experience in cosmetic medicine. He focuses on innovative, non-invasive aesthetic procedures and is a senior lecturer at the University of Queensland School of Medicine.

Conference agenda

Day 1: Sunday, 4th August

  • Teoxane Presentation: Dr. Nabila Azib, a reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon from Rabat, Morocco, will discuss Teoxane’s latest advancements.
  • Aesthetics RX Skincare Presentation: Nicola Kropach will present innovative skincare solutions.
  • Galderma Presentation: Dr. Priyanka Chadha, a plastic surgery doctor from the United Kingdom, will provide insights into advanced cosmetic aesthetics.
  • Dermocosmetica Presentation: Dr. Scott Allison, a cosmetic physician from Queensland, Australia, will share his expertise in non-invasive aesthetic procedures.
  • Q&A Sessions: Interactive Q&A sessions with the KOLs will allow attendees to delve deeper into the topics discussed.
  • Dinner and Awards: The event concludes with a dinner, awards ceremony, live music, and a dance floor.
