The education highlights you can expect from Hair Festival 2023
Hair Festival is back for 2023 and education is once again a huge focus for the weekend of hair. Taking place over the long weekend of June 11 and 12, the festivities are hosted at Carriageworks, Sydney, and offer both the REALtalk Business Forum and plethora of Education Sessions as learning opportunities, headlined by some of the best, globally recognised talents in hair business, education and creative art.
The REALtalk education event will take place on the morning of June 11, with topics around valuing your work, the power of education, maximising in salon technology, addressing mental health and engaging with the global salon community, to inspire and motivate you as a salon leader.
Inspiring brands and educators lead the way in these forums. For REALtalk, major names such as salon owners Paloma Garcia and Christopher Hunter, as well as education leaders Jane Barrett and Lisa Conway and brand founder Stephanie Mason currently headline the list, with more to be announced.
The diverse Hair Festival Education Sessions will highlight a myriad of brands and education leaders across the weekend. Choose between topics that focus on textured styling, tool and product use, the future of leadership, specific curl and hair type focuses, hair extension expertise and even the balance and life and business skills needed in the day to day of hairdressing in 2023. The sessions will showcase artistic skills and live looks, through spotlights on colour, cut, style, extensions and more, and variously cover business topics too, growing both your salon and your sense of self in the process.
In the Education Session halls, pinnacle talents, ambassadors, educators and brands such as Dyson, De Lorenzo, Excellent Edges, Polished Style, MCM Imports, Floractive, Curl Resus, Pivot Point, Showpony, Auriche and so many more will define the versatile education offering.
