The new line is the brand’s biggest launch since their original Moroccanoil Treatment, continuing Moroccanoil’s commitment to innovation and professional hair, while extending their line of haircare, styling, and body products marketed to consumers in 70 countries globally.

Consumers and professionals can expect a full range of colour services that deliver vibrant, long-lasting hair colour with intense shine while maintaining the integrity of the hair, ensuring brand and salon loyalty through these innovations. The hero ProArginine + ArganID® System is an amino acid that is naturally found in the hair and therefore easily accepted by it. ProArginine works as an alkalising agent that supports the colour process and ArganID® seals and repairs the hair cuticle. The full range offers increased shine, scalp health and comfort and vibrant colour, in in-salon treatments and complementary retail products.

The launch also ushers in a new brand partnership with award-winning Moroccanoil Celebrity Colourist, Greg Gilmore. Greg brings 18 years of experience to the launch and is well-known in Los Angeles as a cut, colour and texture hair expert for some of Hollywood’s elite. Greg will promote the collection alongside Moroccanoil Global Colour Ambassador Jessica Scott, who has over ten years of salon hair colour experience and most recently was awarded the 2021 American Influencer Award for Hair colourist of the Year.

The colour range offers in-salon professionals services including permanent hair hues by way of the Color Rhapsody Permanent Cream Color, which delivers 100 per cent, true to tone grey coverage, shine and care in 68 tones, as well as the Color Rhapsody High Lift Permanent Cream Color, which delivers up to five levels of lift on natural hair, levels six and higher, in five shades from warm to cool. The Oxidative Cream Developer is enriched with argan oil to provide conditioning benefits, consistent and precise applications and optimal colour results when used with Moroccanoil Color Rhapsody, Color Infusion, Color Calypso Demi-Permanent Cream Color, and Blonde Voyage Powder and Clay Lighteners. The Color Stain Remover adds to the repertoire to effectively and gently remove the signs of a colour service, in a fast-acting formula that helps to remove unwanted colour stains without causing redness.

The demi-permanent options are comprised of the Color Calypso Demi-Permanent Cream Color, which is an easy-to-use, low-commitment cream formula to add shine, condition, manageability and coverage, as available in 44 shades. The Color Calypso Demi-Permanent Gloss is the answer for unbeatable shine, colour clarity, and lasting vibrancy, with a seamless liquid formula. The product’s Activator can be used with the Gloss for enhanced performance, enriched with argan oil to provide conditioning benefits with optimal colour results.

The Color Infusion Pure Color Mixer customises any hair colour to intensify, neutralise, or pastelise the results of both the Color Rhapsody and Color Calypso collections, in a gel-based formula that has seven options. The Blonde Voyage Blonde Voyage Powder Lightener is a high-performance, multi-purpose lightener that delivers controlled and reliable lift of up to nine levels. The technology is powered by the hero BondCare + ArganID® System that protects and nourishes the hair during the lightening service and adds strength to reduce damage and breakage. The Blonde Voyage Clay Lightener delivers precision application for all freehand techniques in an efficient clay formula for up to eight levels of lift, with the same hero technology for nourishment and strength. The tool contains Kaolin clay for a creamy consistency that spreads easily and stays in place for precision work.

The launch’s colour care offering includes the Moroccanoil Blonde Perfecting Purple Shampoo and Conditioner to neutralise brassiness in blonde, lightened brunette and grey hair with deep violet pigments, as well as the Moroccanoil Protect & Prevent Spray to stop colour from fading or becoming brassy by protecting it from exposure to UV and other environmental factors that weaken the hair.
