Profhilo Structura Launches in NZ, Marking a New Era in Non-Invasive Cosmetic Medicine

This week, Clinic42 has ushered in a new advancement in the cosmetic medicine landscape with the launch of Profhilo Structura. Recently unveiled at the NZSCM Conference and a premiere event in Auckland, it is now available to Clinic42 clients, making New Zealand the fourth market globally to offer the innovative fat regenerative treatment.

Dr Ellen Selkon, the first practitioner in New Zealand to administer Profhilo Structura, describes it as a gamechanger in the world of non-invasive cosmetic procedures. Unlike traditional fillers, Profhilo Structura goes beyond simply adding volume; it rejuvenates and regenerates ageing fat cells to restore natural contours and midface volume without the risk of over-volumisation.

“It is incredibly unique and is the only product on the market that reverses the ageing of the fat cells in the face,” says Dr Selkon. “While it’s not a replacement for fillers, it can significantly reduce the need for them, offering a more natural enhancement without the risk of ‘widening’ the face.”

The treatment is designed to address two key types of age-related facial changes: Sinkers and Saggers. Sinkers, characterised by a sunken or hollowed appearance due to thinning skin and fat tissue, and Saggers, who experience facial laxity and heaviness, can both benefit from this treatment. Structura’s targeted approach ensures that each patient receives customised care to enhance their unique facial characteristics.

One of the most distinctive aspects of Profhilo Structura is its ability to work on a cellular level, enhancing collagen, elastin, and restored fat cells to rejuvenate the superficial fat layer in the face. Structura also works in synergy with Profhilo, providing both lift and rejuvenation while enhancing the glow and vitality of the skin.

The treatment protocol involves two initial sessions with a 30-day interval, followed by maintenance treatments every 4-6 months. Each session lasts approximately 30 minutes and is priced at $900 per treatment.
