New Zealand luxury body care brand expands into the US
Premium New Zealand body care brand Tronque is establishing a strong prestige beauty presence in the United States, launching into Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus.
Tronque’s considered range features five core products—Firming Butter, Exfoliating Refining Serum, Scar Concentrate, and Vitamin C Body Oil—all with unique luxury formulations harnessing active ingredients, akin to face-centric skincare.
The range will soon be available on Saks’ and Neiman Marcus’s websites, and it will roll out to 43 Saks locations and 37 Neiman Marcus locations in the new year. Tronque will be the first New Zealand beauty brand to debut at both department store retailers.
Tronque was inspired by founder Tanne’s struggle with her reproductive health. While recovering from her second endometriosis surgery in 2019, she learnt about endocrine disruptors in skincare and how they can mimic hormones. She investigated her daily skincare regime and was shocked to discover that these products from well-known global brands contained harmful ingredients proven to disrupt human hormonal systems.
Tronque is currently available direct-to-consumer and at selected stockists including Smith & Caughey, The Facialist, Tonic Room, Clinic 1 Aesthetics, and Colleen, with plans to expand into Australia and Europe.
