Indigo & Iris launching second product in charity collab

Indigo & Iris launching second product in charity collab

Two years ago, Kiwi startup Indigo & Iris raised nearly $130,000 via crowdsourcing platform PledgeMe to create ‘levitate’, a mascara “that not only lengthens, hydrates and defines your lashes, but also restores sight” through donations to the Fred Hollows Foundation.

“After a phenomenal 18 months, we’re launching our second product,” says Indigo & Iris founder Hannah Duder. “Our second product has been chosen by you – both in terms of what we’re creating and who we’re donating our profits to. We asked – and over 65% of you chose a lip product. And, more than two thirds of you told us that you most care about social issues in Aotearoa New Zealand.”

Duder is now raising money to produce a set of four vegan and cruelty-free lipstick shades, with 50% of all profits going to Dress for Success.

If funded, the Indigo & Iris lipsticks will come in four shades.

“Whether you buy one or all four of Aotearoa’s most impactful lipstick, you’re making a conscious choice to support an organisation that transforms lives. Dress for Success empowers women in need to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.”

The PledgeMe campaign aims to raise a minimum of $58,000 by November 3 in order to put the lipsticks into production.
