KMS has continued it support of national activewear brand P.E Nation, styling the fashion house’s latest collection, titled Living to the Limit. With hair direction thanks to Pat Ryan of Wildlife Hair Sogo, the collection was photographed on the iconic Bondi to Bronte walk in Sydney, with the rocky landscape, ocean pools and urban streets playing host to the ideal P.E Nation girl.

“With P.E. Nation the hair direction is always hair with movement, texture and a bit of post workout grit. I loved layering the products throughout the shoot, the hair just got better and better as the day went on. The new KMS Curl Up Twisting Style Balm got a workout! Curls drink it up,” Pat said.

The collection featured models and dancers including brand regular Tarah Scott, and was complemented by glowy, fresh faced makeup from MAC. The hair looks offered three different styles to suit the collection, infusing the editorial with the urban, streety style sense of cool pivotal to both the hair and fashion brand.

The first two looks on Tarah and model Vivian offered a wet look and a strong ponytail, while the look for model Cameron worked with the natural curl and texture, as infused with KMS Curl Up Twisting Style Balm and KMS Tame Frizz De-Frizz Hair Oil added to ends.

Look one:

• Step 1: Twist KMS Curl Up Twisting Style Balm into curls.
• Step 2: Add a small amount of KMS Add Volume Styling Foam and diffuse dry.
• Step 3: Add KMS Molding Paste and finish with KMS Tame Frizz De-Frizz Hair Oil for a wet look finish.

Look two:

• Step 1: Work KMS Add Volume Styling Foam through roots and do a directional blow dry to start molding the shape of the ponytail.
• Step 2: In sections, tie into ponytail leaving small amounts of hair line out.
• Step 3: Add KMS Tame Frizz De-Frizz Hair Oil on the ends of pony to keep slick.
• Step 4: Gently rub KMS Molding Paste and a small amount of KMS Tame Frizz De-Frizz Hair Oil to roots of the ponytail and the hairline to add texture and sweatiness. Cameron: We wanted to work with Cameron’s natural curl and texture.
