NZSCM Conference to return to Queenstown for 2024
Bringing together world-renowned medi-aesthetics speakers and leading local practitioners, the annual NZSCM Conference is New Zealand’s largest cosmetic medicine symposium. After relocating to Christchurch in 2023, the New Zealand Society of Cosmetic Medicine has announced it will return to Queenstown for 2024.
Taking place August 15th to 18th, the academic cosmetic medical conference promises to be a gathering of some of the brightest minds in the field, both locally and internationally.
The picturesque setting of Queenstown offers the perfect backdrop for the conference, with its blend of learning opportunities, networking events, and sightseeing. The conference welcomes professionals in aesthetic medicine, from experienced practitioners to newcomers and practice managers. Doctors, nurses, and dentists from around the world are encouraged to attend, creating a collaborative environment for sharing knowledge and advancing skills together.
Last year’s conference hosted award-winning clinical professor and Botox pioneer, Dr Jean Carruthers, who presented her revolutionary research in cosmetic medicine. Local experts also took to the stage including, Dr Mirjana Janjic, Dr Catherine Stone, Dr Lynn Theron, Dr Aman Bhinder, Dr Kirshni Appanna, Dr Paul Nola, Dr Leonie Schelke, and Dr Fleur O’Leary.
The programme for the 2024 conference is set to be comprehensive and exciting, with lectures, procedure demonstrations, and panel discussions covering the latest clinical developments and advances in non-surgical aesthetic medicine. With unprecedented industry involvement, attendees will have the chance to explore new techniques, products, and strategies to enhance and grow their practices.
Conference highlights include pre-conference workshops on Thursday, offering delegates a more intimate learning experience before the main conference begins. In addition to two full days of insights, the always anticipated annual dinner will take place on the Saturday evening, offering attendees the opportunity to reignite and form new connections.
The New Zealand Society of Cosmetic Medicine recommends booking accommodation and flights early, as options may become limited closer to the event date.
