Emma Lewisham shares major update for Australian customers

Emma Lewisham shares major update for Australian customers

As of this month, Australian fans of Emma Lewisham will no longer be able to purchase direct from the brand’s e-commerce website. In a newsletter to customers, the cult celebrity and skin expert endorsed brand announced MECCA as their sole stockist in Australia, marking a pivotal shift in their distribution strategy for the region.

“We are absolutely thrilled to announce that MECCA is now the exclusive home of Emma Lewisham in Australia,” the brand said. “You will now be able to find Emma Lewisham in every MECCA store throughout Australia. This milestone transition brings with it a host of benefits for you, including many more places to shop and refill your Emma Lewisham favourites and more drop-off points for your Beauty Circle returns.”

The change means consumers will no longer be able to shop via the Emma Lewisham Australia website. However, it will remain active with updates on latest innovations and sustainability milestones, with easy click-through links to shop products at MECCA.

It’s widely known that MECCA maintains rigorous exclusivity distribution agreements with its partner brands. This commitment to exclusivity was underscored by a legal precedent in 2021, wherein the Supreme Court of Australia ruled in favour of MECCA in a case involving breached exclusivity agreements with Hourglass Cosmetics. The verdict reaffirmed MECCA’s commitment to upholding the integrity of its exclusive partnerships.
