Earlier this month, media and influencers gathered at an exclusive launch to celebrate ghd’s always anticipated, limited-edition holiday collection.

This year’s event was held at the luxurious Cocoon House in Freeman’s Bay – the perfect canvas to bring to life the enchanting Dreamland collection.

Keeping true to the collection’s metallic jade and dusky pink aesthetic, guests were encouraged to embrace a dreamy, ethereal dress code. Likewise, Floral Centric also got the memo, designing bespoke floral installations to match.

On arrival, attendees were greeted by the delicate, dream-like strums of harpist Harrison Chau, before DJ Lewis McCallum took over on the decks. Throughout the evening, the bubbles were flowing to get guests in the celebratory spirit, complemented by antipasto platters by Little Wolf catering.  

Lauchlan Dann, ghd social media and influencer manager, welcomed guests and introduced the collection, which incorporates all of ghd’s most heralded technologies, including the platinum+ styler, gold styler, helios hair dryer and glide hot brush, all dressed in luxurious velvet cases.

Prior to the event, guests were invited to experience the collection with a complimentary blow wave appointment. For those who couldn’t get into the salon, ghd’s Style Squad was on hand at the event to ensure everyone had a good hair day.
