The first Beauty Nation festival is set to take place this May at Shed 10

After announcing its launch last year, the first-of-its-kind Beauty Nation festival, dubbed the ‘Coachella of beauty’, has revealed it will take place at Shed 10 on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th May.

The inaugural festival will comprise two days of fully immersive beauty activations, zones, masterclasses, guest speakers, and bargains.

For brands, Beauty Nation offers a unique opportunity to connect face-to-face with consumers, expand their customer base, and drive sales.

“As we all know, there is a craving for human connection after a challenging couple of years for the events sector, along with a gap in the market to serve Kiwi beauty consumers, so what better time than now to bring something so special and unique to our doorstep for beauty lovers,” says Beauty Nation co-founder, Chrissy Ve.

Highlights on the event schedule are set to include keynote speeches by both Antipodes founder and CEO and 2018 New Zealand Entrepreneur of the Year (Product) Elizabeth Barbalich, and ed&i founder and reality TV star Edna Swart; as well as a full drag demonstration and meet and greet by much-loved drag superstar and winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under Season 1, Kita Mean.

“From much-loved brands like Antipodes, BraveFace, The Whitening Co, Glow Lab, ed&i, Linden Leaves and OMni Balms to some of New Zealand’s biggest names in drag, event attendees will have access to an incredible two days of all things the best in beauty,” adds Ve.

The beauty exclusive festival will be a celebration of diversity and inclusivity, challenging the status quo and championing self-expression through many ways, shapes and forms.

Tickets are available now, with day passes available from $39. VIP tickets are also on offer.
